Super Bowl Sunday Recipe Round-Up! Giveaway @PegCochran

For football fans, today is THE day.  Super Bowl Sunday!  Are you having friends over to watch the game?  What are you serving?  Here is a round-up of some ideas for your menu!

You gotta have wings, right?  Here is an alternative to Buffalo wings from Cleo Coyle--Sticky Wings.

Sliders are an easy way to feed a crowd.  How about some sticky ham sliders?

Are you expecting a crowd?  Lucy Burdette's Company Baked Ham couldn't be easier!

Everyone loves meatballs and they'll devour these Buffalo Meatballs from Daryl Wood Gerber.

Some chips and dip are practically de rigueur at any party.  Surprise your guests with this White Bean and Pea Dip from Leslie Budewitz.

Cater to your guests' sweet tooth with a dessert like Libby Klein's Gluten Free Pineapple Upside Down Cake.

Got kiddies at your party?  They'll love Maddie Day's Chocolate Peanut Butter Cookies.

Who are you rooting for the Chiefs or the 49ers?  May your team win!

GIVEAWAY!

And now it's time for you to WIN with a GIVEAWAY!  I'm giving away two copies of A DEADLY DEDICATION from my Open Book Series (written as Margaret Loudon) to two lucky people who leave a comment below.  U.S. only, please.

  2. When I have the family over I create a delectable feast for every taste. I make pizza bagels which are yummy, pasta salads, mini hot dogs in challah buns, veggies with avocado dip, meatballs and spaghetti and brownies. saubleb(at)gmail(dot)com

  4. Great lineup of snacks. That's my kind of Super Bowl. I'd occasionally watch the game with my dad but often no preference on winner. Except for the couple years there was a local guy playing- that was pretty cool and his teams ended up winning too. Glad to see the Clydesdales coming back this year.

  5. When your hubby was born and raised in a very small town just 50 miles south of Kansas City, you know this household is rooting for the Chefs all the way!

Thank you for the fabulous suggestions and recipes, which I've saved to my Pinterest recipe file. We are having homemade shrimp pizza for half time eating here.

Would love the opportunity to read and review A DEADLY DEDICATION. Thank you so much for the chance to win a copy.

  7. I don't really have a favorite team in the Superbowl. I'm a fan of the commercials, especially the Clydesdales. Great bunch of recipes for game day.

  8. It was just immediate family this year. We had quite the spread. We had five types of wings, potstickers, mozzarella sticks, onion rings, Buffalo chicken dip, pizza dip and Gordo's cheese dip. For dessert we had chocolate chip sandwich cookies and brownies with fudge frosting. Hubby was rooting for the Chiefs. I watched a little of the game but was there mostly for the commercials. cherierj(at)yahoo(dot)com

  9. It was just me and I only watched some of the pre-game show. I wanted to see Reba sing the National Anthem with the color guard behind her. I love her voice. I've been to one of her concerts and my dad went with me. I was rooting for the 49ers and was happy to see Joe Montana there. Then I just read and checked my phone for the score. Thank you for this chance at your giveaway. pgenest57 at aol dot com

  10. Nachos and guacamole. Just checked the score every now and then to see if relatives would be happy or unhappy.
