Garlic Butter Steak Bites from @TinaKashian1

Hello from TINA KASHIAN! Have you ever wondered how else to prepare a juicy sirloin steak other than to turn on the grill? I tried this recipe from Pinterest and modified it a bit. You cut the steak into cubes then pan sear them with butter, olive oil and garlic. It’s ready in less than twenty minutes and juicy and delicious. I hope you try it and enjoy as well.

Ingredients:

1.5 pounds sirloin steak cut into one-inch pieces

Salt and pepper to taste

1 Tbsp extra virgin olive oil

4 Tbsp butter

1 Tbsp garlic minced

1 Tbsp fresh parsley finely chopped

Directions:

Cut the steak into one-inch pieces and season with salt and pepper.

Add the olive oil and 1 tablespoon butter to a pan and heat over medium-high heat. Let the pan heat up for a few minutes. Add the meat in a single layer. Try not to crowd the pan. If you need to do two batches that’s fine.

Cook for two minutes then flip and cook for another two minutes. Once steak is cooked, transfer it to a plate or bowl.

Turn the heat down to medium low and add the remaining butter and garlic to the pan. Cook, stirring continuously, for two minutes or until the garlic is cooked.

Remove the pan from the heat and add the steak and toss with the butter sauce. Sprinkle parsley on top. Serve immediately. Enjoy!

  1. We LOVE steak! Usually we cook it on a wood fired grill, but love the recipe for those days when it's raining and you still crave steak. Usually we have baked potato and sauteed mushrooms and/or onions and bell peppers. Now that it's summer time with fresh out of the garden veggies, those play a big part in our decision making too.

    1. Hi Kay! I also love a good grilled steak. I prefer medium, not rare. I love all the sides you mentioned too--sauteed mushrooms and onions and a good baked potato. Yum! You made me hungry.
