  8. This looks like a good recipe but I have a question. Would the taist and texter differ terribly if I were to saute celery with the onions and not add the celery soup. 🙄☺Kat

  9. Kay—it depends why you don’t want to use the celery soup. If I eliminated it, I would add celery and whisk two tablespoons of flour into it. Then slowly add it to the soup. I use the cream of celery soup as a slight thickener. Does that help?

  12. Wow, 105 novels! That is a huge accomplishment. Your soup recipe sounds yummy, we'll have to give it a try. I have a recipe that uses cabbage and kielbasa that my family loves, but the ingredients are completely different from yours. I think the family will like this recipe too.

  14. 105th book?! That's amazing! Congrats on the achievement. I absolutely love cabbage and usually use the leftover holiday ham bone to make my own simple cabbage soup. Will definitely have to give this recipe a try.

  15. I was fortunate enough to have access to the ARC through NetGalley and I can say that without a doubt this recipe and the Blueberry Coffee Cake recipe are amazing! I made both on a very cold, rainy day and they instantly put everyone in a better, more cozy mood, thanks to the wonderful aromas that were wafting through the kitchen to the rest of the house.
