    1. Jane - Agreed! Breakfast at sundown is a great change-up for dinner. Thx for the nice words on the photos; lol on licking the screen. Hey, remember scratch-and-sniff books? Don't you think it's about time Bill Gates developed lick-the-screen technology? :)

      Have a delicious Fat Tuesday!

  3. Thanks for announcing the nominees, Cleo. One of us is still in shock.

But now I want doughnuts *and* pancakes. Gorgeous photos as always that are making me hungry. Two boiled eggs for breakfast (that were shared with the dogs) don't compare!

  5. The bacon is sizzling in the oven and the batter is resting for our traditional Shrove Tuesday dinner! Now all I need to do is figure out what to give up for Lent :-)

I will attest that this butter pecan sauce is the best! Mr. Nanc, Chef Connor and Princess of Quite a Lot Emily love it on butter pecan ice cream...I love it right off the spoon!!

Congratulations to the Agatha nominees, what a lovely "pat on the back" for all of you!!

    1. Nanc - Always wonderful to see you in our Kitchen, and you're right...we are all so proud of these talented ladies!

As for the butter pecan sauce, your Emily is right. It's close to sinful on ice cream. (An apropos indulge the night before a fast, lol!)

Enjoy your Shrove Tuesday pancakes, Nanc!
