As you know, I love my slow cooker. It’s particularly great when you can get a large piece of meat on sale. Make up a big patch of something like this roast pork and freeze for later meals.
Roast Pork with Onions in Slow Cooker
Ingredients:
¼ cup brown sugar
¼ cup soy sauce
¼ cup white vinegar
2 bay leaves
1 boneless pork shoulder, around 2.5 – 3 lbs

2 cloves garlic, chopped
2 tbsp chopped peeled fresh ginger
Instructions:
In the slow cooker, combine brown sugar,
soy sauce, vinegar, bay leaves
Add oil to a skillet on medium-high heat
and brown roast on all sides
Place in slow cooker
In the same skillet brown onions, garlic,
ginger for about 5 minutes. Spoon over
meat in the slow cooker

Sounds yummy! I've never owned a crock pot, but have a friend that is going to love this recipe. Passing it on to her.
