Parmesan Roasted Brussels Sprouts from @TinaKashian1

HAPPY THANKSGIVING TO OUR CANADIAN BLOGGERS AND READERS!

Hello from TINA KASHIAN! I love Brussels sprouts, but my kids do not. Over the years, they have become more adventurous and willing to try new types of food. But I’m a determined mom, and I tried a recipe that they did enjoy. It’s healthy because the Brussels sprouts are not fried and they make a tasty side dish with any meat or fish. The vegetable is also baked on parchment paper which makes clean up much easier.

Ingredients:

2 pounds Brussels sprouts

6 Tbsp extra virgin olive oil

1 Tbsp salt

½ tsp freshly ground black pepper

3 garlic cloves, minced

½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

½ cup Italian seasoned breadcrumbs

Directions:

Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Trim the ends of the Brussels sprouts. Cut them in half and rinse under water to wash. Let them dry or pat them dry with a paper towel.

Place Brussels sprouts in a mixing bowl. Add the oil, garlic, salt, and pepper. Toss gently to coat.

Add the Parmesan cheese and breadcrumbs and toss gently. Place Brussels sprouts on baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Bake for 30 minutes. Brussels sprouts should be golden brown.

Enjoy!
