Quick, simple and easy - what could be better? I would have never thought of putting honey and cheese together, but it does sound good. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteOkay, Mason Canyon, I've got to ask. What time zone do you live in that you are the first to respond every day? I'm giggling because I checked in to make sure the post "posted", and there you are, commenting at midnight! You are a delight! ~ Avery
ReplyDeleteCheese and honey....mmm.
ReplyDeleteAnd you are so *right*--we've all got to take some time out and smell the roses every day. Sometimes I do forget to breathe deeply and relax. I'm going to start out on the right foot this morning!

I am so excited... I just found the only specialty cheese shop on the island... heading there today!
ReplyDeleteGreat timing for this post!
Delightful post. Thanks so much for the reminder, and the creative ideas of ways to enjoy cheese.
ReplyDeleteJulie
Congrats! Lovely post :D
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad everyone is enjoying this. ~Avery
ReplyDeleteI like the idea of honey and cheese. Going to raid my refrigerator.
ReplyDeleteThis sounds like a fabulous, mid-afternoon pick-me-up kind of snack. I know I have some apricot preserves in my fridge . . .
ReplyDeleteOOH, apricot preserves. Love them!
ReplyDeleteAvery, I'm in Georgia and the only reason I've been first lately - can't sleep. So I check to make sure everything posted right on Thoughts in Progress and then check a few blogs that post early. Which (due to the lateness of the hour) this is one blog I shouldn't check. I'm always so hungry when I get finished reading the new post. LOL So when I go to sleep I have visions of cheese, honey and such. :)
ReplyDeleteJanel, my dogs think they're supposed to have a mid-afternoon cheese snack. Their cheese isn't served with honey, though.
ReplyDeleteI'm always in a quandry about what to serve guests who arrive late since they've already had dinner. This would be lovely with a glass of wine.

Honey and cheese - Brilliant! These are two things I always have on hand and with a bit of fruit on the side and fresh bread it really does make for an elegant and satisfying lunch or snack. Thank you, Avery!

What a fabulous idea, Avery! At my signing,
ReplyDeleteI had people anticipating your series. Very
exciting!
Yes....why not, as I reflect. I eat jalapeno jelly on cream cheese, so a sweet another cheese sounds absolutely delectable.
