Over the years, we've hosted hundreds of guest authors. From New York Times bestselling writers to brand new authors with debut works. Join us on the 2nd Sunday of every month to meet our guests. Our guest authors almost always host giveaways of their works, so be sure to stop by and leave a comment with your email address, and you may be selected as a winner!

MAYA CORRIGAN writes the Five-Ingredient Mysteries, featuring a café manager and her live-wire grandfather, the Codger Cook, solving murders in a Chesapeake Bay town. The 7th book in the series, Gingerdead Man, set during a Dickens of a Christmas festival, came out in October 2020. Maya is the winner of the Daphne du Maurier Award and the New England Readers’ Award for unpublished Mystery and Suspense. She previously taught writing, American literature, and detective fiction at Georgetown University and Northern Virginia Community College.

LESLIE BUDEWITZ writes the Seattle Spice Shop Mysteries and the Food Lovers' Village Mysteries, set in northwest Montana. The Solace of Bay Leaves, the 5th Spice Shop mystery, was published in 2020. Watch for Bitterroot Lake, her first stand-alone, coming in April 2021, under the pen name Alicia Beckman.

Mia P. Manansala (MAH-nahn-sah-lah) (she/her) is a writer and certified book coach from Chicago who loves books, baking, and bad-ass women. She uses humor (and murder) to explore aspects of the Filipino diaspora, queerness, and her millennial love for pop culture.

Her debut novel, ARSENIC AND ADOBO, comes out May 4, 2021 with Berkley/Penguin Random House and is the first in the Tita Rosie's Kitchen Mystery series.

The daughter of a law professor and a potter, LESLIE KARST learned early, during family dinner conversations, the value of both careful analysis and the arts--ideal ingredients for a mystery story. Putting this early education to good use, she now writes the Lefty Award-nominated Sally Solari mysteries, a culinary series set in Santa Cruz, California. An ex-lawyer like her sleuth, Leslie also has degrees in English literature and the culinary arts. She and her wife and their Jack Russell mix split their time between Santa Cruz and Hilo, Hawai'i.
