You've saved our bacon! What a great idea for getting the best, most flavorful bacon in the quickest way. We prefer turkey bacon in this house, and I have to fry it in a little olive or canola oil to bring out its best flavor and crispness. I'll bet I could wrap it and nuke it later like you do yours. I'll let you know. BLTs on the way!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Laine! We so enjoy BLTs in the summer and sometimes throw in delicious additions, too, like banana peppers (for a little heat) and/or cucumbers. Having that bacon on hand is also a nice way to give a plain turkey-avocado sandwich more flavor and dimension ditto with crumbling over salad or creating a quick homemade bacon-cheeseburger. Bacon does indeed make it better! :) Thx for dropping in today, Laine. It's always a pleasure to see you in our Kitchen!
