I'm back now. I read your blog aloud to my hub. We both decided we were famished and had to break for lunch. Like our Grill Man (above) I must agree this is a great presentation and easy, too. Can't wait to try it with (as you suggest) a cold, frosty mug of lager! (Loved your one-word answers, too!)

Pasties bring back so many wonderful memories for me! My family used to vacation in northern Michigan every summer and we always had pasties as often as possible during that time. I still search them out when I head north!

Love the history behind Pasties - Cornish mine workers took them for lunch, though that was a heavier version, usually with turnips or potatoes added. These look lighter and better - will have to give them a try.

Jenn, that hot pasty does look perfect for those of us stuck in mounds of snow. What a great way to get kids to eat veggies, too.

LOL! My son helped me with my one word answers.
He came up with chestnut for hair (he said brown was boring). He also decided black must be my favorite color because that's what I always wear.
Too true -- it goes with everything. I did go
through a pink phase a few years ago, but I'm trying to put that behind me;-)
