  12. Campfire Marshmallows, corn dogs, and Shish Kabob! My father is Syrian and we had lots of Shish Kabob when I was growing up, with fresh Pita bread. We'd pull the meat and veggies off the skewers with the bread then pack it all in the pocket for a delicious sandwich. Yummy!

It's too cold and rainy in NY today for that! Darasings@aol.com

  68. Okay I realize this will sound weird to most - growing up in Taiwan the favorite foods on a stick from my childhood were from street food stands, and best ones were chicken hearts (they came 4 or 5 on each bamboo skewer, brushed with soy and grilled), pig's blood rice cake (the rice cake is black in color from the pig's blood - think black pudding - and dipped in ground peanuts and topped with cilantro), and strawberry kabob (sometimes other berries or sour fruits) that was dipped in a malt sugar coating. YUM I want to go back now. Ultim

  69. Oops, thought I had logged out of work!
Thanks so much for this chance! Corn dogs, shish kebabs, and campfire marshmallows. I do adore them all, but there is nothing like a blackened marshmallow, or a corn dog with mustard, or a kebab to make life seem perfect in the moment.

  74. I voted for corn dogs, marshmallows and cake pops. Corn dogs because my first memory of a corn dog came from visiting a fair complete with roller coaster and ferris wheel. I've loved them ever since--the Morningstar version. Marshmallows because s'mores cannot exist without marshmallows: ooey-gooey, slightly browned toasty. And cake pops because in my neighborhood, at Christmas-time, a bag of homemade cake pops using cake soaked in rum and coated with different types of chocolate just cannot be beat. Thank you for this opportunity. wendo

My brain didn't work fast enough to say beef and vegetable fondue skewers.i love shishkebob especially if it is made with lamb. I really like appetizers on a stick too. I use wooden skewers for some fruit kebobs that I serve all summer long. my daughter and her family are into yurt camping and tenting so they use sticks, skewers etc all the time. I am the Grammy that will eat all burned marshmallows that the kids get too close to the logs. 😂 Thank you for the wonderful Giveaway. Sincerely, Cynthia Blain

  148. Just dropping in to say that Marc and I are enjoying all of your comments and food-on-a-stick choices! Thank you all so much for having fun with this. There is still plenty of time to vote and comment. The drawing won't take place until after midnight this Sunday, April 2nd. Good luck, everyone, and...like the Terminator, I'll be back...

  149. I voted for Campfire Marshmallows, Shish-ka-bob and corn dogs. I love going to the County Fairs and getting my corn dog! And I love roasting marshmallows and making smores around a campfire! And I love reading the Coffeehouse Mysteries and drooling over the recipes. I have actually tried a couple.
