Billionaire Blend is the 13th entry in the bestselling Coffeehouse Mystery series. |
In the course of solving the case of the car-bombed Billionaire, coffeehouse manager Clare Cosi will have to bribe an NYPD bomb squad commander (with Irish Cream fudge), crack a mathematicians 17-digit passcode (using a children's riddle), fix her daughter's love life, stop a Slayer (while working with one), and dream up ideas for a billionaires' potluck.
By the end of the book, you'll have taken a trip around the world and have over 20 recipes to try in your own kitchen--and hold on tight for the the final sequence. It's killer.

"Billionaire" Recipes
I'll have a new recipe for you next week.
In the meantime, I'm happy to share some of the
recipes you'll find in my new Coffeehouse Mystery.
Perfect Pumpkin Spice Muffins I love this recipe. It gives me perfectly beautiful muffins every time. |
A Fantastic Skillet Lasagna
This is the recipe Clare serves her NYPD boyfriend,
Mike Quinn. What they discuss over this meal
takes the mystery in a whole new direction,
and takes readers (and most New Yorkers)
to a place they've never been before....

I just received my copy of Billionaire Blend, to my Kindle while I slept. I have read every installment and turned all my friends into fans. Love all your books. Read every one of Jack's adventures as well.
ReplyDeleteDarlene - Marc and I can't thank you enough for your reader support. Cheers to you and I hope you enjoy the case of the fire-bombed billionaire. Clare has quite an adventure in this one, so hold on tight...

Can't wait. I've been requested (again) to make your butterscotch pecan cheesecake for my niece's Christmas present. I make it for my sister-in-law's birthday each ear.
ReplyDeleteSue F - As a culinary mystery writer, I'm always looking for ways to make food and drinks part of my story, which means taste testing is part of the job. Poor me, right? Actually, poor pants, which get stretched quite a bit during the "research" phase!
DeleteI'm so glad you're enjoying the recipes here at MLK. May you always read (and eat) with joy...

ReplyDeleteI look forward to reading Billionaire Blend. I've just started and can't wait to see where it takes me.
I am having trouble with the facebook link. It lets me "like" but doesn't post. Any idea what the problem might be?
Libby - I'll take the last Q. first...try the "share" link, that *should* work for you, at least it looks like it will work from my end.
DeleteOn BB, Marc and I had a grand time writing this entry. We had fun doing things with the characters that we've never done before--and taking them places that they've never been. We can only hope our readers enjoy the other end of this process!
Thanks for dropping in today, Libby. It's always a pleasure to see you in "The Kitchen" - have a great week...

Sue – Happy thanks for the lovely note. I continue to maintain that food writing and photography are zero calories--on your end, anyway.
DeleteOn my end, the food is just sitting there after being made and photographed…just sitting there whispering (okay, *shouting*) “Eat me! Eat me!”
I think I may seriously consider re-acquainting myself with jazzercise. :)

Congratulations on the new release - and it's a smashing one! Absolutely five-star read. I didn't know whether to envy Clare or pity her, and I never knew what was coming next. And the recipes--oh my goodness gracious...heaven help my waistline. Our Christmas goodie plates will have a few new entries this year. Thanks for them, but especially for the wonderful book!

Yay Clare Cosi! Can't wait to read her next installment. I've been re- listening to my audible Cleo Coyle's coffeehouse mysteries to get ready! Thank you.
ReplyDeleteShirley
Whee! Can't wait for the next Clare adventure.
ReplyDeleteLove your stories, love your characters, but really love the recipes. I keep your books in the kitchen with my cookbooks! And I would also love for all of them to be in one place, a la a cookbook of their own. But in lieu of that, thanks for including them in the books.
Best of luck on the release.
I like the skillet lasagna. Looking forward to reading Billionaire Blend.
